# Promethean vs GoodGeometry

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GoodGeometry at 64% against Promethean's 18%. GoodGeometry also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). Promethean's advantage is price (Free vs $3.99) and rating (2.5 vs 1.2). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Promethean is free to download; GoodGeometry costs $3.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Promethean holds the better App Store score, 2.5 against 1.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Promethean has 59 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Promethean's written reviews are positive against 64% of GoodGeometry's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Promethean ships an update every 4 months, GoodGeometry every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
