# Promethean vs Life_Clock

The clearest difference is update cadence: Life_Clock at every 2 weeks against Promethean's every 4 months. Life_Clock also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Promethean ships an update every 4 months, Life_Clock every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
