# Pictionary Air vs PictureIt

The clearest difference is ads: Pictionary Air at none against PictureIt's shown. Pictionary Air also leads on ratings volume (37K vs 394) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). PictureIt's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pictionary Air sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and PictureIt sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Pictionary Air against 4.5 for PictureIt. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pictionary Air has 37K ratings behind it against 394, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 46% of Pictionary Air's written reviews are positive against 44% of PictureIt's.

Pictionary Air ships an update every 3 months, PictureIt every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
