# Commune vs Emonthebrain

The clearest difference is rating: Commune at 4.6 against Emonthebrain's 3.0. Commune also leads on ratings volume (376 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Commune sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Emonthebrain sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $21.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
