# My Diary vs Perfect Journal

The clearest difference is update cadence: My Diary at every 9 days against Perfect Journal's monthly. My Diary also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 17.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Diary sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Perfect Journal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My Diary ships an update every 9 days, Perfect Journal monthly. Both last shipped on October 8, 2026.
