# CDL Prep Practice Test Genie vs CDL Pro

The clearest difference is update cadence: CDL Pro at every 5 days against CDL Prep Practice Test Genie's monthly. CDL Pro also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 86%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). CDL Prep Practice Test Genie's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 5) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CDL Prep Practice Test Genie sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $39.00 per month and CDL Pro sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CDL Prep Practice Test Genie holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CDL Prep Practice Test Genie has 14K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of CDL Prep Practice Test Genie's written reviews are positive against 100% of CDL Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CDL Prep Practice Test Genie ships an update monthly, CDL Pro every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
