# 2 Stroke Ratios vs Hydrawise

The clearest difference is review sentiment: 2 Stroke Ratios at 100% against Hydrawise's 39%. 2 Stroke Ratios also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). Hydrawise's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (65K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hydrawise holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hydrawise has 65K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of 2 Stroke Ratios's written reviews are positive against 39% of Hydrawise's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

2 Stroke Ratios ships an update fortnightly, Hydrawise every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
