# 2 Stroke Ratios vs Speedometer GPS

The clearest difference is review sentiment: 2 Stroke Ratios at 100% against Speedometer GPS's 33%. 2 Stroke Ratios also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ads (none vs shown). Speedometer GPS's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (8.9K vs 1). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speedometer GPS sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. 2 Stroke Ratios asks for nothing beyond the download.

Speedometer GPS holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speedometer GPS has 8.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of 2 Stroke Ratios's written reviews are positive against 33% of Speedometer GPS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

2 Stroke Ratios ships an update fortnightly, Speedometer GPS every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
