# Monster Smart App vs iStrip+

The clearest difference is rating: Monster Smart App at 4.6 against iStrip+'s 2.8. Monster Smart App also leads on ratings volume (26K vs 449). iStrip+'s advantage is review sentiment (42% vs 25%) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Monster Smart App holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Monster Smart App has 26K ratings behind it against 449, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Monster Smart App's written reviews are positive against 42% of iStrip+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Monster Smart App ships an update every 5 months, iStrip+ every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
