# Monster Smart App vs DayBetter

The clearest difference is rating: Monster Smart App at 4.6 against DayBetter's 3.2. Monster Smart App also leads on ratings volume (26K vs 1.2K) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). DayBetter's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months) and chart position (#57 vs unranked). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Monster Smart App holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Monster Smart App has 26K ratings behind it against 1.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Monster Smart App's written reviews are positive against 33% of DayBetter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Monster Smart App ships an update every 5 months, DayBetter weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
