# FYTT vs Drain Log

The clearest difference is rating: Drain Log at 5.0 against FYTT's 4.5. Drain Log also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). FYTT's advantage is ratings volume (13 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FYTT sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and Drain Log sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drain Log holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FYTT has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FYTT ships an update monthly, Drain Log every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
