# Widget Timer vs Memento

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Memento at 100% against Widget Timer's 44%. Memento also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.1). Widget Timer's advantage is ratings volume (186 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Widget Timer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Memento sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Memento holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Widget Timer has 186 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 44% of Widget Timer's written reviews are positive against 100% of Memento's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
