# Zef vs The Kite Mag

The clearest difference is update cadence: Zef at fortnightly against The Kite Mag's every 4 months. Zef also leads on ratings volume (41 vs 1) and device support (5 vs 3). The Kite Mag's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (100% vs 91%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zef sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and The Kite Mag sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $11.49 per 6 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
