# Zef vs EASI

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: EASI at none against Zef's 3. EASI also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly). Zef's advantage is device support (5 vs 3). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zef sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. EASI asks for nothing beyond the download.

Zef ships an update fortnightly, EASI every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
