# Pointsman vs Flip Seven Scorekeeper

The clearest difference is rating: Pointsman at 4.4 against Flip Seven Scorekeeper's 2.6. Pointsman also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (65 vs 5). Flip Seven Scorekeeper's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (100% vs 76%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pointsman sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Flip Seven Scorekeeper asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pointsman holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pointsman has 65 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Pointsman's written reviews are positive against 100% of Flip Seven Scorekeeper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
