# RevisApp vs Notepad by Subject

The clearest difference is update cadence: RevisApp at every 6 days against Notepad by Subject's every 2 months. Notepad by Subject's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 57%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs freemium). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RevisApp sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Notepad by Subject sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RevisApp ships an update every 6 days, Notepad by Subject every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
