# Senville vs Lorex Connect

The clearest difference is rating: Lorex Connect at 2.4 against Senville's 1.9. Lorex Connect also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 13 months). Senville's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ratings volume (84 vs 5). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lorex Connect sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Senville asks for nothing beyond the download.

Lorex Connect holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Senville has 84 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of Senville's written reviews are positive against 10% of Lorex Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Senville ships an update every 13 months, Lorex Connect every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
