# Tone Gen Pro vs CloudDeck

The clearest difference is update cadence: CloudDeck at every 2 days against Tone Gen Pro's every 3 months. Tone Gen Pro's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tone Gen Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CloudDeck sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tone Gen Pro ships an update every 3 months, CloudDeck every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
