# Math Tests vs Pre

The clearest difference is ads: Pre at none against Math Tests's shown. Pre also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 13 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Math Tests sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Pre sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Math Tests ships an update every 13 months, Pre monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
