# Saadeddin vs Prep'd

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Saadeddin at 67% against Prep'd's 14%. Saadeddin also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). Prep'd's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.1). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Prep'd holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 14 and 40 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Saadeddin's written reviews are positive against 14% of Prep'd's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Saadeddin ships an update monthly, Prep'd fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
