# Scrap Paper vs BeText

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Scrap Paper at 35 against BeText's 4. Scrap Paper also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months) and device support (4 vs 2). BeText's advantage is price ($0.99 vs $1.99). On rating, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Scrap Paper costs $1.99 and BeText $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Scrap Paper against 4.8 for BeText.
