# Simple Piano vs Strikey

Simple Piano and Strikey both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Strikey's written reviews are positive against 62% of Simple Piano's. Strikey also leads on ads (none vs shown). Simple Piano's advantage is ratings volume (6.4K vs 16) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simple Piano sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Strikey sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Simple Piano against 4.3 for Strikey. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Simple Piano has 6.4K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 62% of Simple Piano's written reviews are positive against 100% of Strikey's.

Simple Piano ships an update every 2 months, Strikey every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
