# Barometer for Watch vs Torr

The clearest difference is ads: Barometer for Watch at none against Torr's shown. Torr's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (182 vs 49). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Barometer for Watch sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Torr sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Torr holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 49 and 182 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Barometer for Watch's written reviews are positive against 57% of Torr's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Barometer for Watch ships an update every 4 months, Torr every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
