# GolfPass vs ParPoints Golf

GolfPass and ParPoints Golf both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of ParPoints Golf's written reviews are positive against 46% of GolfPass's. ParPoints Golf also leads on ads (none vs shown). GolfPass's advantage is ratings volume (5.5K vs 48) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GolfPass sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and ParPoints Golf sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for GolfPass against 4.7 for ParPoints Golf. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GolfPass has 5.5K ratings behind it against 48, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 46% of GolfPass's written reviews are positive against 100% of ParPoints Golf's.

GolfPass ships an update monthly, ParPoints Golf every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
