# GolfPass vs Texas 9

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Texas 9 at none against GolfPass's 5. Texas 9 also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). GolfPass's advantage is ratings volume (5.5K vs 2) and update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GolfPass sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Texas 9 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Texas 9 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GolfPass has 5.5K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
