# GolfPass vs The Yips

The clearest difference is review sentiment: The Yips at 100% against GolfPass's 46%. The Yips also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). GolfPass's advantage is ratings volume (5.5K vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GolfPass sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and The Yips sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $59.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Yips holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GolfPass has 5.5K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
