# Telemax vs 8NTV

The clearest difference is update cadence: 8NTV at every 12 months against Telemax's every 26 months. 8NTV also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Telemax ships an update every 26 months, 8NTV every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
