# WebMO Premium vs Kaplan MCAT

The clearest difference is review sentiment: WebMO Premium at 67% against Kaplan MCAT's 5%. WebMO Premium also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). Kaplan MCAT's advantage is price (Free vs $4.99) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 17 months). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Kaplan MCAT is free to download; WebMO Premium costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Kaplan MCAT holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kaplan MCAT has 264 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of WebMO Premium's written reviews are positive against 5% of Kaplan MCAT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WebMO Premium ships an update every 17 months, Kaplan MCAT every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
