# Pentair Pool vs Septilink

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Pentair Pool at 25K against Septilink's 5. Pentair Pool also leads on device support (4 vs 1). Septilink's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Septilink holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pentair Pool has 25K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pentair Pool ships an update monthly, Septilink fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
