# Pentair Pool vs ASF FeedCon

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ASF FeedCon at 100% against Pentair Pool's 30%. Pentair Pool's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (25K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pentair Pool holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pentair Pool has 25K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Pentair Pool's written reviews are positive against 100% of ASF FeedCon's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pentair Pool ships an update monthly, ASF FeedCon every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
