# ScharkSpark vs DaVinci

The clearest difference is rating: DaVinci at 4.5 against ScharkSpark's 3.8. DaVinci also leads on ratings volume (76K vs 12) and chart position (#112 vs unranked). ScharkSpark's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 17) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DaVinci sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. ScharkSpark asks for nothing beyond the download.

DaVinci holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DaVinci has 76K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 38% and 38% positive.

ScharkSpark ships an update every 2 weeks, DaVinci fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
