# HelloPackage vs FashionPass

The clearest difference is monetization model: HelloPackage at free against FashionPass's subscription. HelloPackage also leads on rating (3.5 vs 3.1) and device support (3 vs 1). FashionPass's advantage is review sentiment (41% vs 17%) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HelloPackage holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 60 and 90 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of HelloPackage's written reviews are positive against 41% of FashionPass's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HelloPackage ships an update every 3 months, FashionPass monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
