# CISM Practice Test vs CISSP Exam Certification Prep

The clearest difference is rating: CISSP Exam Certification Prep at 4.7 against CISM Practice Test's 4.0. CISSP Exam Certification Prep also leads on ratings volume (177 vs 3). CISM Practice Test's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 20%) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 4 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CISM Practice Test sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CISSP Exam Certification Prep sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CISSP Exam Certification Prep holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CISSP Exam Certification Prep has 177 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of CISM Practice Test's written reviews are positive against 20% of CISSP Exam Certification Prep's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CISM Practice Test ships an update every 5 days, CISSP Exam Certification Prep every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
