# Comodo Mobile Security vs HydraVPN

The clearest difference is rating: HydraVPN at 3.7 against Comodo Mobile Security's 3.1. Comodo Mobile Security's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (51 vs 3). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Comodo Mobile Security sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and HydraVPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HydraVPN holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Comodo Mobile Security has 51 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Comodo Mobile Security ships an update every 2 weeks, HydraVPN weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
