# Coral vs RepNote

The clearest difference is rating: RepNote at 5.0 against Coral's 4.6. Coral's advantage is ratings volume (3.5K vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coral sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and RepNote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RepNote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coral has 3.5K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Coral ships an update every 9 days, RepNote every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
