# FreeCell vs FreeCellﾠ Solitaire

FreeCell and FreeCellﾠ Solitaire both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 44% of FreeCellﾠ Solitaire's written reviews are positive against 0% of FreeCell's. FreeCellﾠ Solitaire also leads on ratings volume (464 vs 3). FreeCell's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FreeCell sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FreeCellﾠ Solitaire sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FreeCell holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FreeCellﾠ Solitaire has 464 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of FreeCell's written reviews are positive against 44% of FreeCellﾠ Solitaire's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
