# polette vs GlassesGallery

The clearest difference is ads: GlassesGallery at none against polette's shown. GlassesGallery also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). polette's advantage is ratings volume (103 vs 3) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GlassesGallery holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: polette has 103 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

polette ships an update every 2 months, GlassesGallery every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
