# NHRA.tv vs Barrett

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Barrett at none against NHRA.tv's 2. Barrett also leads on review sentiment (58% vs 38%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). NHRA.tv's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 54) and rating (4.6 vs 4.4). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NHRA.tv sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Barrett asks for nothing beyond the download.

NHRA.tv holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NHRA.tv has 1.1K ratings behind it against 54, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of NHRA.tv's written reviews are positive against 58% of Barrett's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NHRA.tv ships an update every 6 weeks, Barrett every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
