# Inspyr Studios vs Midtown

The clearest difference is ads: Midtown at none against Inspyr Studios's shown. Midtown also leads on rating (4.2 vs 4.0) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). Inspyr Studios's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 67%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Midtown holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Midtown has 74 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Inspyr Studios's written reviews are positive against 67% of Midtown's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Inspyr Studios ships an update every 2 months, Midtown monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
