# LED LAMP vs REMOTE LIGHT

The clearest difference is ratings volume: LED LAMP at 2K against REMOTE LIGHT's 93. LED LAMP also leads on review sentiment (19% vs 10%). REMOTE LIGHT's advantage is rating (2.1 vs 1.9) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

REMOTE LIGHT holds the better App Store score, 2.1 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LED LAMP has 2K ratings behind it against 93, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of LED LAMP's written reviews are positive against 10% of REMOTE LIGHT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LED LAMP ships an update monthly, REMOTE LIGHT fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
