# ButterLink vs Butterfly Shimai

The clearest difference is rating: ButterLink at 2.3 against Butterfly Shimai's 1.0. ButterLink also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (11 vs 1). Butterfly Shimai's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 0%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ButterLink holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ButterLink has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of ButterLink's written reviews are positive against 33% of Butterfly Shimai's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
