# FM 304 vs CACHE

FM 304 and CACHE both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of FM 304's written reviews are positive against 67% of CACHE's. FM 304 also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17). CACHE's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 43 months) and price ($2.99 vs $3.99). On rating, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

FM 304 costs $3.99 and CACHE $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CACHE holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 10 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of FM 304's written reviews are positive against 67% of CACHE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FM 304 ships an update every 43 months, CACHE every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
