# Defender 24 vs COOLCRAZY

The clearest difference is monetization model: COOLCRAZY at free against Defender 24's free with in-app purchases. COOLCRAZY also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months) and review sentiment (50% vs 34%). Defender 24's advantage is ratings volume (3.4K vs 99) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Defender 24 against 4.7 for COOLCRAZY. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Defender 24 has 3.4K ratings behind it against 99, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 34% of Defender 24's written reviews are positive against 50% of COOLCRAZY's.

Defender 24 ships an update every 4 months, COOLCRAZY every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
