# Orixo vs Total Biochem

The clearest difference is ads: Total Biochem at none against Orixo's shown. Total Biochem also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Orixo's advantage is ratings volume (4.2K vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Orixo sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Total Biochem sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Total Biochem holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Orixo has 4.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Orixo ships an update every 2 months, Total Biochem weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
