# Renew Support vs VetChange

The clearest difference is update cadence: Renew Support at every 7 months against VetChange's every 35 months. VetChange's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Renew Support against 4.9 for VetChange. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VetChange has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Renew Support ships an update every 7 months, VetChange every 35 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
