# i vs Hush

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: i at none against Hush's 29. i also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.3 vs 4.1). Hush's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 3) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hush sells 27 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. i asks for nothing beyond the download.

i holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hush has 1.5K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

i ships an update every 3 weeks, Hush weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
