# WatchTheTime vs DigiDate Calendar

The clearest difference is rating: DigiDate Calendar at 5.0 against WatchTheTime's 3.6. DigiDate Calendar also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). WatchTheTime's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (39 vs 3). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DigiDate Calendar holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WatchTheTime has 39 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WatchTheTime ships an update every 2 weeks, DigiDate Calendar every 7 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
