# Inso vs Parents

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Inso at none against Parents's 10. Inso also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.6). Parents's advantage is ratings volume (94 vs 15) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Parents sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $99.99 per month. Inso asks for nothing beyond the download.

Inso holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Parents has 94 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
