# Maytag vs Birthday

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Maytag at none against Birthday's 1. Birthday's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Birthday sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Maytag asks for nothing beyond the download.

Maytag ships an update every 2 months, Birthday every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
