# Traffic Light Collections vs Colorblocks World

The clearest difference is rating: Colorblocks World at 4.2 against Traffic Light Collections's 3.7. Colorblocks World also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 17 months) and ratings volume (162 vs 48). Traffic Light Collections's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 43%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Traffic Light Collections sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Colorblocks World sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Colorblocks World holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 48 and 162 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Traffic Light Collections's written reviews are positive against 43% of Colorblocks World's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Traffic Light Collections ships an update every 17 months, Colorblocks World every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
